Your exchange unit must be fully assembled with valves and springs, crack-free and in serviceable condition. Exchange casting number must be 2A629 / 12A145
Description
Remanufactured Cylinder Heads:
All MCCS remanufactured cylinder heads leave our machine shop to the highest of standards.
Specification:
- All heads are chemically cleaned
- Inspected for cracks and damage
- Inspected for suitability, if over machined previously we will discard the cylinder head.
- 3 sides refaced
- All threads chased / recut
- New valve guides installed and honed to size (A+ type used for later seals)
- Unleaded valve seats fitted
- Valve seat angles cut
- New Valve Stem Seals
- New Valves
- New Valve Springs
- Spring Retainers and Collets.
Your new cyinder head leaves us in better than new condition and ready to fit. All installation hardware and ancillary items (Gaskets, Rocker assemblies etc) are available.
Returning your old unit.
Thank you for considering the purchase of your new cylinder head from MCCS. We have made the process of purchasing your new head as straight forward as possible.
Your new cylinder head will arrive to you in a custom, padded box. We ask that old studs are removed as this will protect the padding in the box. Please wrap your soiled head in a bin bag or similar and put back into the padded box. You can then book delivery back to us, if you need us to book the shipping we can take care of that for you and deduct the cost from your exchange refund.
